Create a raw data visualization

If you have already read our article defining raw data visualization, we invite you to follow the steps presented in this article to create your own visualization and discover all the possibilities offered by this feature.

Configuring a raw data visualization

When you create a new raw data visualization, the presentation model is proposed in the form of a table:

To customize the format of the table columns, click on the "Configure Columns" button:

Select "Custom Columns" and "Add Columns":

Then check the columns of your choice. For example, in the context section we want to display a "Campaign" column and a "Deployment" column :

Apply your modifications.

To finalize your columns:

  • Modify the column headers by clicking on the pencil;
  • Modify the order of the columns by dragging and dropping;
  • Delete the columns by clicking on the red cross.

Customization actions also allow you to :

1. Select your “data set” and apply the filter to define the precise scope of the desired content :

If your data set includes test data, every other line will be blurred. The raw data export will be limited to 10 lines.

2. Set column widths or the number of rows per page. If the verbatim analysis engine is activated for this campaign, you can choose from the following options:

Highlight terms: emphasize key terms detected by the analysis engine;
Show polarity: visually distinguish the polarity of the term by coloring (green for positive, gray for neutral, red for negative);

3. Adapt your table's graphical rendering: background color, border color and thickness, title and value size and color, etc.

4. Configure the export, if you want this raw data view to be exportable by users or dashboard recipients. You can then:

  • Name the export file: You can variabilize the name of your file. To do this, add a hashtag. You will see the variable panel appear. You can add multiple variables to construct the name of your file. For example: Export-[#day]/[#month]/[#year]
  • Choose its extension: CSV/XLS and its encoding: ISO/UTF-8
  • Choose to separate the columns: thus each questionnaire response will have its own column (be careful of complex exploitation depending on the type of questionnaire)
