Skeepers places great importance on protecting the data of its Feedback Management users and recipients, as well as all respondents, whether they are customers, consumers, collaborators or service providers.
Your data is securely stored with the european host Amazon Web Services Ireland, which is ISO 27001 and ISO 27017 certified.
In this regard, we strictly comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) deployed in 2018 within the European Union. This article answers your various questions regarding data conservation. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Retention of feedbacks and attributes
By default, answers to surveys (feedbacks) and the personal data attached to them (attributes) are accessible on Skeepers for a period of 2 years. More precisely, the data is retained for 771 days by default. After this period, you will no longer see this data on the platform. It is anonymized and then archived in our database before being permanently deleted a year later.
We invite you to gather the feedbacks collected in your campaigns into raw data visualizations that you should export regularly (manually, via FTP or via Email) to maintain a specific history of your surveys outside the platform. The storage of this data should be done in the secure environment of your choice.
Upon request to your Customer Success Manager or Skeepers Support, it is possible to :
- shorten the retention period of feedback to the desired duration
- activate the "J-3 rolling year" option to access feedbacks for 3 years long
The activation of the "J-3 rolling year" option must be done during the initial 2-year retention period to conduct statistical studies.
Once the option is activated, you will be able to extract data that has not yet been deleted from the platform for an additional year. Thus, the data will be accessible for 3 years on the platform instead of the default 2 years.
The activation of this clause must first be validated by your DPO (technical contact). This type of modification is significant and may lead to changes in your site's General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC). These details are usually specified in your contracts and records. The processing time is one month, with no additional cost.
Retention of contacts
By default, contacts are retained as long as they are used in the platform and present in broadcast lists.
In the 'Contacts' category of the platform, you have the option to manually delete contacts and their associated data. You can do this individually by clicking the "Delete" button or select multiple contacts, click the "Actions" button, and select "Delete selected contacts".
Please note that deleting a contact will also delete the feedback that the respondent may have left in your surveys.
Retention of flat files ingested into the platform
Skeepers does not retain the CSV files imported into the platform. Once they are ingested into the platform, the files are destroyed. We do not keep any trace of them.
In case of import issues, we recommend keeping the files imported into Skeepers (import of contacts, feedbacks, solicitations, datamarts, linked attributes) in your environment to provide them in the context of a support requests.
Retention of user and recipient access
Each user or recipient profile/access is retained in the Skeepers Feedback Management platform for the duration of the partnership linking Skeepers to your organization.
These data include :
- the user/recipient username
- the user/recipient password
- the rights and properties associated with the user/recipient
- the information filed in the user/recipient profile
As an account administrator, you have the option to manually delete users and recipients of your organization's account. For this, please refer to the documentation on deleting users and deleting recipients.
You can contact your Customer Success Manager or Skeepers commercial contact for a specific paid service if you wish to delegate the bulk deletion of users and/or recipients within your organization's Skeepers account. The action will be carried out by our Technical Factory team.
Retention of cookies
Cookies related to Skeepers connections and integrations are saved for 360 days.
Retention of logs
Logs are saved in the platform based on the following requirements :
