Would you like to analyze the results of multiple questions with the same format within a single indicator to calculate a percentage, average, or trend ?
If you have already deployed a campaign with multiple questions in a similar format or within a matrix, this article details how to perform a detailed analysis of these elements based on your needs.
Requirements
To perform the analysis optimally, we recommend having created a campaign that has already collected several feedbacks and contains :
- multiple similar multiple-choice elements (example : 3 checkbox questions with the same answer options)
- and/or multiple similar rating scales (example : 2 numeric NPS questions)
- and/or a matrix with multiple sub-questions
All elements you want to analyze globally in your analyses must have a tag (learn more about adding tags). Prefer a unique tag per group of elements (example : a tag "nps matrix," a label "checkbox reasons for dissatisfaction", etc.).
In this article, we use as an example a post-purchase satisfaction survey that includes multiple matrices (CSAT and checkbox types) to gather insights from respondents about their reasons for purchasing in-store.
Specific tags have also been added to the sub-questions of each matrix.
Depending on the structure of your campaign, some steps in this article may differ.

To build this type of indicator, you must first create an indicator from scratch by restricting the dataset to your campaign.
Then add a new "Feedbacks" type dimension.
You must then select the item "Question title" and choose the specific question you want to analyze.
Then select the values (answer options / modalities) you want to display or set up categories if the format allows it (learn more about categories).
If you want to perform a calculation on your indicator (percentage, average, etc.), we recommend selecting all values, including "(Unanswered)".
Your indicator is ready ! To customize your indicator, feel free to consult our dedicated article.

As this type of indicator only shows the volume of respondents who have submitted an answer to this question, you can cross data of different formats (example : showing the number of respondents for all the questions in a survey). This can help you quickly identify from which question the survey abandonment is most significant.
