Connect Adobe Campaign Standard to Skeepers

The Skeepers Feedback Management solution can interact with many other platforms in your work environment.

You have the option to connect Skeepers to Adobe Campaign via a connected application. Its installation is quick and accessible to everyone. This integration allows you to use mapping to automatically transfer respondent information to Adobe Campaign, facilitating the management of your marketing campaigns.

Learn how to configure this integration by following these steps.

Usage

The Adobe Campaign Standard connected application simplifies your post-feedback actions by transferring respondent data to Adobe Campaign and enabling the sending of targeted newsletters.

We explain how to set up Adobe Campaign's CRM feed and register respondents for your newsletters in the article Feeding Adobe Campaign's CRM with Skeepers.

Accessibility

  • The Adobe Campaign Standard connected application is available to everyone
  • The previous Adobe Campaign connected application is only available for accounts historically configured

Requirements

  • Be logged in as an administrator of your Adobe Campaign account
  • Be logged in as a user with the "Account Settings" right on your Skeepers account

Context

If you are currently using Adobe Classic (Adobe On Premise version 6, 7 or 8), we invite you to use :

  • the connected app "Adobe Campaign" if you already have an active authentication with Skeepers

  • the connected app "Adobe Campaign Standard" if you do not have already an active authentication with Skeepers

In 2025, Skeepers deployed Adobe's changes regarding the deprecation of JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication in favor of OAuth authentication (more information available on Adobe's website).

As part of this change, we now offer an updated connected application "Adobe Campaign Standard", which uses OAuth2 authentication for a more secure integration.

Connecting to Adobe Campaign Standard

From the "Settings" tab visible in the left sidebar of the platform, go to the "Integrations" section, then "Available applications".

Using the search bar located on the right, search for "Adobe Campaign Standard". This connected application can be used for data mapping or for sending transactional emails via webhooks (learn more about webhooks). Click the "Integrate" button.

You will then need to add a new managed authentication. Name this new authentication.

On the authentication configuration page, you can choose between JWT (JSON Web Token) or OAuth2 authentication modes.

However, since Adobe has set the deprecation of historical JWT authentication for June 30, 2025, we recommend choosing OAuth2 authentication. This is precisely what we detail in this article.

To complete the various fields for authentication, we recommend consulting the documentation provided by Adobe on this topic: OAuth Server-to-Server credential implementation guide.

Then click the "Save" button.

The authentication is now set up.

If the authentication has this symbol in the list, it is well connected

If the authentification has this symbol in the list, it means it is disconnected, please verify the fields and intervene

Migrating the Adobe Campaign Standard authentication system

If you are currently using the Adobe Campaign Standard connected application with JWT authentication (JSON Web Token), we encourage you to update the existing managed authentication.

Simply switch the authentication mode from the dropdown list and complete the various fields as explained in the previous section.

Learn more about the migration in Adobe's detailed documentation.

Mapping configuration

By configuring the mapping, you can define the data you wish to transfer from Skeepers to Adobe Campaign.

To do this, go to the "Mappings" tab in your newly connected Adobe Campaign Standard application and click the "Add new mapping" button.

Next, name this new mapping. It should reflect its purpose (example : new subscriber, unsubscribed, etc.). Then, select the newly created authentication in the "Authentication" field.

In the "Distant app object", select the element you wish to enrich in Adobe Campaign.

The "Identification field" corresponds to the data used to locate an element in Adobe Campaign.

The "Operation" field allows you to choose whether you want to :

  • create the data in Adobe Campaign (Create)
  • update existing data by overwriting the previous entry with the new one (Update)
  • or create the data if it does not exist and update it if it already exists (Create or Update)

Mapping fields must then be added and completed based on the variables you wish to transfer from Skeepers to Adobe Campaign. The elements in the "Internal object" column correspond to variables in Skeepers (attributes, tags, answers, etc.), while those in the "External field" column correspond to the information and fields in Adobe Campaign.

The "Transformation" field is only required in very specific cases where the data must be altered to fit a precise format (example : transforming a phone number starting with "+336XXXXXXXX" into "06XXXXXXXX").

Press the "Save" button once everything is in order. If everything is properly configured, the fields should begin populating automatically.
