Bars, buttons, and pop-ins can be configured both in terms of triggering rules (the visitor is on a specific page, hovers over an element, is inactive, is a new user, etc.) and their design and placement. All of these elements should be considered to optimize the user experience, maximize engagement with your pop-ins, bars, and buttons, and generate as many responses as possible.
How does it work?
- Thanks to advanced CSS settings! Once you have configured your website deployment, click on the “Advanced settings” tab:
- Then enter the CSS code for the fields you want to customize. The “Preview” button allows you to visualize your design before validating it.
Best practices
- Differentiation and consistency: it is important to maintain consistency between your page design and your pop-in, bar, or button. The element should attract attention without being intrusive: for example, you can use the primary and secondary colors of your brand guidelines.
- Size and placement: to optimize the number of responses collected and maximize interactions with your buttons, bars, and pop-ins, we recommend adapting their size and placement. For example, favor a side display for prompts related to pages viewed during navigation (see use case below); and a full-screen display for a survey deployed at the end of the journey.
