To increase your questionnaire response rate, we recommend integrating the first question of your questionnaire directly into your email.
This type offers more interactivity with the customer and encourages a better click-through rate. We offer two approaches after the click:
- Recording the first response: the response is recorded, and the questionnaire opens on the second question. If your respondent abandons the questionnaire at this stage, the response is counted and can be used in your analysis
- Pre-filling the first response: the questionnaire opens on the first question, using the response provided in the email. Your respondent can modify their response, which will then be validated by clicking a button (article on this topic). If your respondent abandons the questionnaire at this stage, the response is not counted.
In both cases, your questionnaire logic and scenarios are intelligently preserved.
If the first response is recorded when clicking in the email, "robots" testing the URLs contained in emails may respond instead of the actual recipient.
These cases may represent a significant proportion of responses among B2B or Internal targets. We recommend using only pre-filling for B2B or Employee targets.
Required criteria
You must meet a few criteria to distribute your first question via email:
- only one campaign linked to the distribution;
- one of the following question types: rating scale, NPS, image list, checkboxes, opt-in;
- only one question with a validation button on the first page if the first response is validated.
Integrate your question
- To integrate your question into an email, go to your
distributions and create a new email distribution:
