How to export raw data from an indicator

The indicators in your reports and dashboards can be used to generate response exports.

A raw data visualization is a display format that contains information in its raw state, meaning exactly as it was collected by your survey.

The indicators in your reports and dashboards can be used to generate response exports.

When you create a new raw data visualization, the display template is therefore presented in a table format:

From your report or dashboard, to configure or export raw data from an indicator, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Analytics > Dashboard.
  2. In your dashboard, click "Edit".
  3. Access your raw data table and click the three dots, then select "Edit query".
  4. Go to the tab with the settings icon and click "Data access".
  5. Check the option "Allow feedback export in CSV format" and, if necessary, "Allow feedback viewing".
  6. Click "Apply" and don’t forget to save the changes made to your dashboard.

Then "Export raw data".

You’re all set!

To modify the display format of the raw data, click "Edit query" and then "Raw data".
