Create color schemes (Rating scale, NPS and CSAT)

Create a Color Palette for Standard or Custom Icons

A color palette allows you to apply your own colors to elements such as rating scales, NPS, or CSat — whether they use Skeepers-provided icons or your own custom icons.

On the menu on the left side of your screen, click "Settings", then in the "Design" menu, open the "Color Palettes" submenu.

Click "Add a Palette".

Here you can configure your new color palette.

  1. Give your palette a name
  2. Choose the type of question for which the palette will be used: NPS, CSat, or Rating Scale

To customize your icon gallery (previously configured for a rating scale), select Rating Scale.

  1. For a rating scale, you must define the number of icons (for NPS and CSat, the number of icons is already predefined).
  2. Choose the display type:

    numbers

    smileys

    stars

    or custom

Select Customize to choose your own custom icons.

The same principle applies if you want to customize a standard Skeepers icon gallery (numbers, stars, smileys).

Then, select an icon gallery.
Here we are using the previously created "Weather Gallery".

You can customize your palette either with globally defined colors (default) or with custom colors for each icon.

Default Colors

This is the quick and efficient customization option.
Choose a background color (your icon color), then a hover color (the color displayed when you hover your mouse over an icon).

You can apply a gradient to your icons by clicking the dedicated button and selecting an end color.

Note: With the settings below, your rating scale will display icons starting with color #4424AF, gradually fading to #795cdd on the last icon.

Custom Colors

This option is designed for customization enthusiasts! Both the background color and hover color of each icon can be customized!
For each icon, choose a background color (the icon’s color), then a hover color (the color displayed when hovering over it).

You can enter the hexadecimal codes of your brand colors or select your colors using the color picker.

The preview allows you to visualize your changes in real time.

Once your settings are complete, click to save your palette.

Your palette will appear in the dedicated menu.
You can create as many palettes as you want to tailor each of your rating scales.

Once your color palette is configured, you need to add it to your design in the settings so that it can be applied to your surveys.

  1. Click "Settings"
  2. Then click "Classic Design"
  3. Click "Edit"

Add your previously created color palette by clicking the “+”.

Repeat the process for each defined color palette, then click .
