How to use « Rich content » elements.

Customize your survey by adding text, variables, links, images, and videos

The rich content element appears as a text editor. It allows you to customize your survey by adding formatted text, variables, links, images (or animated images), and videos.

You can use rich content to display explanatory videos, but also to personalize the survey using variables (for example, your name and the score you obtain at the end of the module) or to insert animated images in specific sections.

Edit your content

You can modify the font size, apply bold or italic formatting, and adjust alignment (left, center, right, or justified).

You can also structure your text using bullets , numbering , increase or decrease indentation , and change formatting (color and highlight).

A dedicated button allows you to remove formatting, as well as two buttons to undo or redo an action.

You can add a link . We recommend choosing the “new window” option to open the page in a new tab, so that participants do not leave the survey if they click the link.

You can also add formatting for titles and subtitles, or insert a table.

To add an image, click the icon.

  1. In the source field, enter your image URL.
  2. If your image is not already hosted or you do not have a link, open the file explorer.

In the file explorer, you will find already uploaded files as well as a navigation menu and display options. You can organize your content by creating as many folders as needed.

Make sure that the names of the files you upload do not contain spaces, special characters, or accents, to ensure proper integration.

To add a new image, click Upload. JPEG, PNG, and GIF formats are supported, with a maximum file size of 5 MB.
Click “Upload” to send the file, then return to the browser. By default, the uploaded item is already selected. Click , then choose the desired dimensions. Image alignment can also be adjusted.

To add a video, click the icon and add the video link.

You can directly embed videos from platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo, which provide an embed code. This ensures that views of your video are properly tracked across your services.

To add a video from an external service, simply use the “Embed” tab and paste your video code.

Rich content offers many options. If you need more specific customization, you can ask for help from a member of your technical team, who can assist you using source code.

Final customization step: inserting a variable. Click the “Insert variable” menu, then choose the element to display. For example, the customer’s first name. Dynamically, each participant will see their own name automatically displayed.

For more details about variable usage, feel free to consult the dedicated article .

Your rich content is now properly configured; you can preview it before saving.
