How to create a reminder on an email or SMS deployement from Skeepers: instant follow-up or scheduled follow-up
To create a follow-up for your email or SMS deployments, you need to open your email or SMS deployment from Skeepers and click on the "Follow-ups" tab:
You have two types of follow-ups:
1 - Immediate follow-up, to send a reminder email or SMS immediately.
2 - Scheduled follow-up, to schedule a reminder in advance.
1 - Immediate follow-up
To create the follow-up, you choose the target from the drop-down list:
- Not opened corresponds to recipients who did not opened your initial email. Target not available in the case of an SMS.
- Not clicked corresponds to recipients who did not click on any element of the email or SMS - including non-openers.
- Not asnwered refers to recipients who did not respond - including unopened and unclicked. This is the broadest target.
Next, choose the email or SMS template to use for this follow-up, you can either choose one from the drop down list, or create one via the "Create" button.
Tip: You can use the same template as the initial one but feel free to create another one with a different subject or content to maximise your response rate.
All you have to do is click on Send.
Warning: For immediate reminders, as soon as you click on the Send button, the reminder will be sent to the customers.
2 - Scheduled follow-up
To create the follow-up:
- Define a status: by default the follow-up is inactive
- Define the delay between the initial sending and the follow-up (in days)
For example, if you set 10 days, the follow-up will be sent 10 days after the customer has received the email or the SMS:
Then, choose the target from the drop-down list:
- Not opened corresponds to recipients who did not opened your initial email. Target not available in the case of an SMS.
- Not clicked corresponds to recipients who did not click on any element of the email or SMS - including non-openers.
- Not asnwered refers to recipients who did not respond - including unopened and unclicked. This is the broadest target.
Next, choose the email or SMS template to use for this follow-up, you can either choose one from the drop down list, or create one via the "Create" button.
Tip: You can use the same template as the initial one but feel free to create another one with a different subject or content to maximise your response rate.
All you have to do is click on Save.
You can change the status of scheduled follow-ups from the list of follow-ups.
It is possible to combine several follow-ups. We advise you to limit to 1 or 2 follow-ups maximum to avoid too much pressure on your contacts.
