Do you want to redirect your survey respondents to a dedicated TrustPilot review page?
Depending on your TrustPilot version and the modules you have subscribed to, several different configurations are possible. In this article, we explain how to set up an automatic redirection of respondents to TrustPilot, whether you are using the "Free" version or the paid "Standard" version of the tool.
Overview
TrustPilot offers a paid "Connect" module that allows transferring data from a third-party tool (such as Skeepers) to TrustPilot. This option is required to fully leverage the feature, especially by automating the mapping of data from your survey and/or CRM, so that respondents do not have to manually enter their information.
With either the free or paid version (without this module), it is still possible to automatically redirect a respondent to the TrustPilot review page. In this case, the respondent will have to manually enter their information.
If you have subscribed to the optional module and wish to connect TrustPilot to Skeepers, we provide a TrustPilot Connected App. To learn more about how to set it up, please see our dedicated article Connect TrustPilot to Skeepers.

Setup
Redirect to TrustPilot action with data mapping
This section of the article applies only if you have subscribed to TrustPilot’s optional "Connect" module, which allows mapping data from a third-party tool to their platform.
Prerequisites
Before setting up the "Redirect to TrustPilot" action in your campaign, it is necessary to have the TrustPilot Connected App enabled on your Skeepers account, authenticated, and your mapping configured in Skeepers.
Your campaign must contain the variables you defined in the mapping (attributes, tags, etc.) so they are correctly populated and transmitted to TrustPilot. The segment linked to your campaign must therefore include all the attributes you wish to send to TrustPilot.
Since leaving a review involves opening a new page, we recommend setting up this automation on a thank-you page located at the end of the survey, once all responses have been validated. It is necessary to add a button such as "Submit the form and finish" on this thank-you page to trigger the automation.
You can customize the thank-you message with a content block to inform your respondents that they will have the option to leave a review by clicking the button. Feel free to include legal notices in this space.
Configuration of the "Redirect to TrustPilot" action
- To set up the post-response action "Redirect to TrustPilot" after your survey response, go to the "Actions" tab of your campaign.
- Name your action and complete the conditions of your post-feedback action.
- Fill in the "WHEN" condition with "On page submit" and select your thank-you page in the "IF" condition. You can also add other redirect conditions.
- For the "THEN" condition, choose an action of type "Redirect to TrustPilot" and select the appropriate mapping from those you have already configured in the connected TrustPilot app.
Redirecting only satisfied respondents to a review submission page (a practice known as "review gating" or "cherry picking") is illegal in the United States and strongly discouraged in Europe. This practice undermines the authenticity and reliability of your online reviews, and may even lead to sanctions or legal issues. We strongly encourage you to adopt a transparent approach by allowing all respondents, regardless of their satisfaction level, to share their experience. This ensures balanced and credible reviews, strengthening consumer trust in your brand.
Everything is now set up so that when respondents click the final button of the survey, they are redirected to the TrustPilot review submission page, without having to re-enter their details. Depending on the mapping you configured, the respondent's personal information will be pre-filled, and you also have the option to include the respondent's rating and comment in the variables.
Redirect action to the TrustPilot review submission page
This section of the article applies if you have the "Free" or "Standard" version of TrustPilot without subscribing to the optional "Connect" module.
Setting up the "Redirect to TrustPilot" action that allows redirection with data mapping to TrustPilot is not available in this configuration. However, you can still use a simple redirection to the review submission page. The only difference is that your respondent will need to manually complete their information on TrustPilot.
Pre-requisites
Since the review submission involves displaying a new page, we recommend setting up this automation on a thank-you page at the end of the survey, once all answers have been validated. It is necessary to add a button of type "Submit the form and finish" on this thank-you page to trigger the automation.
You can customize the thank-you message with rich content to inform your respondents that they can leave a review by clicking the button. Feel free to include legal disclaimers in this space.
Redirect action configuration

Everything is now set up so that when respondents click the final button of the survey, they are redirected to the TrustPilot review submission page.
